Advice for jewelery maintenance

In order to preserve the original brightness of the jewels, they. need to be protected from changes in humidity and temperature. It is important that you store them in a case or velvet cover while not wearing them. This advice is also good to protect desOri jewelery from blows that might cause damage to the jewelery.

Due to the nature of silver itself, this oxidizes and turns dark. In desOri we understand that this particular characteristic can also be seen as proof of time passing. Often, this process of deoxidizing gets accelerated by substances produced by our own skin or by the humid environment where we live.

If you do not like the aspect resulting from the oxidation process (paler and matte surface) and you want to get the original luster back, you may clean the jewelry with proper products you can buy at your local jewellery. It is important not to wipe or damp the clock face or added parts. If you do that, we can not guarantee that these elements won’t be physically altered due to the different materials they are made of.
